In the shortcut tap on Choose. You dont even need to see the menu you can begin moving the app as soon as it begins to bounce as you can see in the GIF below. The app will instantly disappear from your iPhones home screen.

Start by swiping over to the right-most home screen on your iPhone to open the App Library. Tap the icon in the top right-hand corner to create a new shortcut. First you can press on the app icon and drag-and-drop it to a location on your home screen.

Touch and hold any app on the Home Screen then tap Edit Home Screen. You can go to the App Library by swiping to the right-most page and search for it to launch the app. Click on the upper area to find the lost app.

Tap the dots near the bottom of your screen. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen. Tap on any space of the Home screen.

Drag the app icon you want to move to its new location and let go. You might need to wait a second for the new page to appear. In earlier versions of iOS youd touch and hold until you entered jiggle mode.

Drag the app or folder to the right side of the screen. Here locate an app that isnt already on your home screen. In recent versions of iOS you can start dragging the app as soon as you feel a click or you can pause until you see a popover in which you can tap Edit Home Screen.

Tap the Add Action button. Swipe downward and youll get an alphabetical list of your apps. Then browse the folders or search the list of apps.

The 12- 11- and X-series iPhones havent got Touch ID because the fingerprint scanner used to sit in the Home button RIP and Apple decided not to move it elsewhere in the iPad Air Touch ID. Customize your icons. Release the app so that it moves to the new page. When youre finished press the Home button on an iPhone.

Once you find the app icon hold down and drag it to the left to the home screen pages and place it where you prefer. Prevent new apps from showing up on the home screen. Instead of waiting for the app icon in question to begin wiggling as is the norm immediately drag your finger as soon as the app begins to load the quick actions menu.

You start with one page of apps. Locate the app in the list or type the app name into the search field Once youve located the app taphold until it raisesselects then drag it. Tap Next in the top.

To move an app start by touching and holding it. From the options menu choose the Remove App option. Instead of hiding a page on your Home Screen you can move individual apps from the Home Screen to the App Library.

To unhide a page repeat the steps above. From your Home Screen swipe left until you get to the App Library. Touch and hold the app.
